Pallet Trucks Safety

The Materials Handling and Logistics sectors are busier than ever which is why it is so important to have reliable equipment in your warehouse whenever it’s called for.

Every square metre of UK warehousing space houses between 10 and 12 tonnes of goods each year and it’s highly unlikely it’s going to budge without a pallet truck or some other form of materials handling equipment. At Nationwide Handling we always ask if equipment is safe and serviceable, the reason we do this is to keep pallet trucks, stackers or any other equipment you have on site in good, working condition. Just recently we’ve had a case of customer urgently needing to move stock around and (having ignored their only other truck breaking down) suddenly have no equipment to do it with. For this reason we urge you to give us a ring if your pallet truck is on its last legs, it’s more important than you might think!
