International Materials Handling Exhibition – Highest Ever Visitor Numbers
The International Materials Handling Exhibition delighted visitors, exhibitors and organisers alike at Birmingham’s NEC this year. The countries largest logistics event featured impressive stands, thousands of innovative exhibits, informative seminars and plenty of serious business. The logistic industry’s event of the year, which took place across four halls of the NEC, attracted the highest ever number of exhibitors and also a record number of visitors.
IMHX 2013 was opened by world land speed record breaker Richard Noble, who is the Project Director for the latest Bloodhound SSC (Supersonic Car). The rocket and jet powered car was displayed throughout IMHX and Richard gave presentations to update visitors with the latest details about the vehicle, which will attempt to break the 1000mph limit.
A record breaking year:
Highest ever number of visitors to attend an IMHX show at over 19,500.
A record breaking 412 exhibitors were at the show, displaying their newest products and ideas to improve the logistics industry.
The ‘Design4Safety’ competition winners were announced along with details for future events.
The events plans for 2016 and its move to the new autumn slot look set to make the IMHX a must event for everyone in the Materials Handling Industry.
