Engineer of the month – July

 Pallet Truck Servicing

Dave has been with the company since its launch, starting out servicing and repairing Pallet Trucks, Stackers and various other types of Materials Handling Equipment. As Nationwide Handling grew its business and employed more engineers, it required quality managers and Dave was a natural choice.

Today, Dave supervises and helps build our new Materials Handling Equipment to be sent out to our customers. Whilst undertaking some repairs in the workshop and over seeing the parts department, he ensures they both run smoothly and efficiently.

The summer months tend to pose potential problems for Materials Handling companies, especially regarding holidays, when having to still maintain a high level of service to their customers, only with less staff to achieve this. Dave is not afraid to get his hands dirty, so it was no surprise when recently, Dave rolled back the years by getting in the spare service van and went out on site, delivering and repairing some Pallet Trucks that our customer urgently needed to be done.

A big thank you to Dave for all your hard work and support during July. You truly have mastered the concept of ‘the customer is king’.

I am always pleased to announce the Engineer of The Month; but this month’s winner is quite unique as it’s our newest engineer from Scotland… Willie Henny. As a rule, new starters never win this award
