CFTS at IHMX 2013 – Thorough Examination like an unfinished suit !

Well done to the CFTS their stand at the recent IMHX 2013 show was both informative and innovative.

Comparing an unfinished suit with an incomplete inspection on a forklift truck, pallet truck or stacker was pure genius.

Here’s the video from CFTS – Make sure your Fork Lift Thorough Examination isn’t half a job

At Nationwide Handling we always explain to the customer what is covered within the Thorough Examination and what Managers and Directors need to do to be compliant to all current health and safety legislation.

Materials handling companies need to work closer with their customers to ensure all their fork lift trucks, electrical pallet trucks, manual and powered stackers currently on service agreement and maintenance plans are fully covered and comply to all current LOLER/PUWER regulations.

The end user of the equipment often places their trust in the knowledge that their service provider completing the work for them is making sure the forklift truck, pallet truck or stacker is safe to use and they have the correct certification and more importantly there is no risk of accidents or workers being hospitalised or killed.

At Nationwide Handling we are both CFTS Accredited and Safe Contractor Approved.

Engineer of The Month

I am always pleased to announce the Engineer of The Month; but this month’s winner is quite unique as it’s our newest engineer from Scotland… Willie Henny. As a rule, new starters never win this award
